Watertown High School Now Serves Veggie Burgers

Watertown High School in Wisconsin now serves veggie burgers on a daily basis! This is a huge step to improving school lunches to make them healthier and more delicious!

Students can now be assured that they will consume about the same amount of protein, if not more so, than a meat burger when they eat veggie burgers - all without the artery clogging cholesterol and fats!

According to Loma Linda University, people who abstain from meat live an average of 7-15 years longer than most people who consume animal products! Not to mention the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and the Gerson Institute claims that a plant based diet can significantly reduce the possibility of one getting cancer, in fact, they go on to say that an organic vegan diet can, in many cases, cure cancer!

Eating veggie burgers over meat burgers will also help the environment! According to the United Nations, the meat industry produces more greenhouse gases than all the forms of transportation combined.

Lastly, of course it will be better for the animals who suffer significantly on factory farms where they are raised.

Thank you Watertown High School for taking this positive step towards a better and brighter future for our youth, the environment, and the animals!
