Watertown Group Selected as Finalist for Grant

WATERTOWN, Wisconsin – A local animal advocacy organization based in Watertown was selected as a finalist for a $10,000 grant by KIND Projects.
The Global Conservation Group plans to use this grant to help construct a much needed wildlife rehabilitation and education center in Manabi, Ecuador. However, the group needs the most public votes to win the funds.
According to KIND Projects “The lack of medical attention that are afforded to wild animals in South America is severely substandard. It’s important to realize that just as people, animals also need care, which is exactly what we plan to provide them with. The facility that the Global Conservation Group plans to build, would feature a state of the art wildlife rehabilitation center that will provide free 24/7 services to wildlife animals and strays in need of assistance.”
