According to a report on the Mutual UFO Network, a fellow was traveling home to Waterloo with his girlfriend on September 25, 2013 when he saw what he described as a “surreal” and “live-changing” event.
They were driving along Township Road 68 when they saw “two lights down the road in front of us” and “three bright lights in the sky” at about 10:10 p.m. He described the objects as “boomerang, disc and triangle” shaped.
“I said to my girlfriend, ‘They look like UFOs but must be airplanes coming directly at us.’”
He then noted, “It makes no sense for all three to be headed directly at us.”
When two of the lights got closer to their vehicle, they “stopped and stared. Then I realized one disappeared, instantly.”
After driving a few hundred meters further, one of the objects was over top and to the left of their vehicle. The witness noted that it was about 100 feet up and was barely moving. At that point, he exited the vehicle to take a photo.
“I told her to get out; she was balling her eyes out begging me to get in the car. I prayed out loud. I stayed outside until she yelled to look over to the right.”
When he looked, he saw another UFO “in the tree line maybe 30 feet off the ground and 300 meters away.”
They watched this object hover there and decided to drive away from it “down another road.” They lost sight of all three of the objects but then decided to turn back.
“On the way back, we saw where the one in the trees landed. There (were) bright lights pulsating in the forest.”
When they saw this, they decided to leave. Although the man said he “felt quite calm the whole time,” his girlfriend was crying and “overwhelmed” but the UFOs.
“She still doesn't know what to believe, but we both know what we saw,” he said adding that “no drugs or alcohol” were consumed that night.
