The Center for Creative Photography is hosting a panel discussion called "Water: Where Science and Art Meet" on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. The panel will focus on the Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry's Ground|Water: The Art, Design and Science of a Dry River book. The panel will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Center for Creative Photography Auditorium.
The "Water: Where Science and Art Meet" panel will be moderated by the director of the Confluencenter, Dr. Javier Duran. The panel will include one of the Ground|Water: The Art, Design and Science of a Dry River book's editors (Ellen McMahon), the Noron Family Curator of Photography at the Center for Creative Photography and the Phoenix Art Museum (Dr. Rebecca Senf), the deputy director for Sceince Trasnlation and Outreach at the Institute of the Environment (Dr. Gregg Garfin), and a doctoral candidate at the ASU School of Sustainability (Edgar Cardenas).
About the Center of Creative Photography: The Center of Creative Photography is located on the U of A Campus just south of Speedway near the pedestrian underpass that is just East of Park Ave. The Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
