Humans have been brown to survive without nourishing their bodies with food for several weeks. What may be surprising to hear is those same beings can’t survive without water for more than a few days.
An average adult body consists of two-thirds of water. It is vital and essential to healthy living. Water aids the body in many natural processes such as” digestion, lubrication of joints, keeps tissues from sticking, maintains blood volume as well as blood pressure.
On a typical day a person may lose three quarts of water. Water is removed from the body through elimination, perspiration and respiration. We can replenish the necessary water our bodies need from foods and drinks. The easiest is to remember to always drink six to eight glasses of water each day.
Do you drink enough water to replenish your body’s tissues and muscle functions?
Keep hydrated at all times with water!
