The Maryland Native Plant Society is holding a talk, Geology and Natural History of Maryland at the Kensington Library on August 27. It will start at 7:30 p.m. The speaker, Ned Tillman, is the author of The Chesapeake Watershed: A Sense of Place and a Call to Action. The 2013 Tri-Association Conference: Water is Life will be held at the Roland E. Powell Ocean City Convention Center from August 27 to August 30.
