Watch full episodes of your favorite CBS primetime, daytime and late night shows for free
According to a Mar. 14 report in “Apple Insider”, CBS Interactive has just launched its new app into the App Store. With “CBS” you can now watch full episodes of hit shows like “NCIS”, “CSI”, “The Young and the Restless”, “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “How I Met Your Mother” for free.
These full episodes will be streamed to your iPad or iPod touch within 24 hours after broadcast. New episodes of primetime shows can be streamed eight days after their airing.
A future update will integrate with another CBS app, “CBS Connect” so you'll be able chat live with show talent and fans through Twitter and Facebook, as well as get the latest fan talk. You'll also be able to share photos and videos of your favorite celebs.

This is a big step for CBS. “America's Most Watched Network”, like almost all television content providers, is tepid about showing its programing out of the traditional broadcast setting for fear that it may somehow dilute its value.
