The 2010 FIFA World Cup is under way in South Africa and starting June 11, 2010, the games can be watched live online and even on smartphones.
Live television coverage won't be the only way fans can watch World Cup 2010 action, with livestreaming online, game highlights on YouTube and running updates on Twitter and Facebook.

In the office when the games are on? If it's OK with the boss or you can schedule your lunch around game-time, there are plenty of options for computer viewing of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

ESPN and ABC will stream 54 games live on the newly launched ESPN3.com, formerly ESPN360. The games are free to those in the U.S. who use a service provider affiliated with ESPN, including AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast.
Univision Communications has Spanish-language broadcasting rights in the U.S. and will have games available on Univision.com and Univision Movil.

ESPN also has their own World Cup app available for free.
Android app: Try the World Cup 2010 app by FotMob. Follow your favorite world cup team. LIVE-coverage, news feed, tables, stats and much more.
Blackberry app: South Africa for BlackBerry (BlackBerry) is the latest RIM super-app that focuses on the World Cup, offering scores, news and videos.

Onscreen apps embedded in many sites include an ESPN Radio app that gives live play-by-play audio. Turner Sports' SportsNow app is directly linked to Facebook and Twitter to for a good, interactive experience with other fans. Other sites to try include Fox Soccer Channel, The Associated Press and Goal.com.
Cellphone: ESPN has partnered with AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, FLO TV and MobiTV to bring the World Cup games to cellphones.
