Marvin Sapp's Gospel music CD, Here I Am, is currently #1 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart. The Gospel song "The Best in Me" is also enjoying #1 status on Billboard's Top Gospel Songs Chart. Sapp recorded with the group Commissioned during the 1990's before beginning his solo career. He first achieved crossover fame with the release of Gospel song "Never Would Have Made It" from the Thirsty CD in 2007.
