If you are a local MMA fan and unable to drive up to New Jersey tonight, then you're in luck: tonight on FOX TV, the UFC will showcase Nate Diaz vs. Jim Miller in the 155lb main event. So you don't have to make that long drive - just pull up your chair in front of the big screen TV with 10 or so of your closest friends, some great food, and enjoy the fights!

Nate Diaz vs. Jim Miller
UFC and Fox Sports

The Preliminary fights will be shown on both Facebook and FUEL TV, with 4 (four) fights available to fans on FOX: Johny Hendricks (12-1-0) vs. Josh Koscheck (17-5-0) facing off in the 170lb. division; Alan Belcher (17-6-0) fighting Rousimar Palhares (14-3-0) at light heavyweight, and Pat Barry (7-4-0) vs. Lavar Johnson (16-5-0) in the heavyweight battle.

Hendricks is an NCAA Division champion fighting out of Dallas, Texas, with Team Takedown. In spite of his wrestling background, he's only won via submission in one fight out of 12, and that was against Richard Gamble back in 2008. Koscheck fights out of Dethrone Base Camp in Fresno, California, and is a Brown belt in "Guerilla Jiu-Jitsu." After his decision loss against Georges St. Pierre, Koscheck managed to beat Matt Hughes via KO, and Mike Pierce via split decision. With a wrestler base, Koscheck has spent a lot of time over the past year attempting to perfect his standup, which sometimes gets him into trouble. Look for these fighters to keep the fight standing, with Koscheck taking it to his roots in his attempt to get a submission win. (And hopefully he won't get an eye poke, or a groin strike, or a papercut during the fight.)

Palhares is from Brazil and is a black belt in BJJ, fighting with Brazilian Top Team. He's won 3 of his last 4 fights; 2 of those via submission. Belcher is also a black belt in BJJ, fighting with Roufusport out of Mississippi. He has also won the last 3 out of 4 fights, and 2 of those were via submission as well. Make no mistake, however, Belcher is just as adept at throwing head kicks and punching his way to a win. Look for Palhares to try and get Belcher down to the mat, with Belcher doing his best to KO his opponent.

Barry is a kickboxer who's also experienced in Kung Fu and Sanshou, fighting with Team DeathClutch, and holding a K1 record of 18 wins to his name; 9 of those via knockout (KO). In his MMA record, he's had 7 wins...6 of those via KO. Johnson comes out of the American Kickboxing Academy, and 14 of his 16 wins have been via KO. This should be a great match that will most likely stay standing, until one of these fighters KO's his opponent for the win.
