It makes for an exciting Valentine's Day when you get the chance to see the Virginia R&B singer, Trey Songz, perform live on stage at Foxwoods Resort and Casino in CT but, it makes for an even better evening when you get to take the stage yourself to have your boyfriend pop the question on stage in front of an arena full of people. On Monday Feb. 17 ThisisRnB gave the world a sneak peek at Trey's performance and a beautiful marriage proposal.
An evening full of love and romance is what many couples plan for one another on that day that only comes around once a year in recognition and celebration of "Love." And for those who attended the live concert on Feb. 14 in Ledyard, CT at Foxwoods Resort and Casino, a night full of love, romance and "ooh nah nah nah" is what they received during Trey Songz performance.
Trey's latest single "NaNa"(pronounced nah nah) is available now on itunes and is set to be included on the upcoming Summer album "Trigga" to be released June 30. Songz explains how the name "Trigga" is kind of like his nickname or his alter ego and we've had the chance to hear from "Trigga" on some of the mixtapes where he is featured rapping instead of singing.
But, what Trey Songz fans are very familiar with as it relates to his music are those sensual and romantic songs like, "Heart Attack" "Neighbors Know My Name" and his latest release "NaNa" that he is seen performing for Valentine's Day. Dressed in all black, Songz is seen in the clip instructing a young woman who is on stage with him to stay right where she was and continue to face the crowd as he then walks away and a young man walks up behind the young lady to propose. After reciting some words that you can barely make out due to the screaming of the audience, the young man soon drops down to one knee with ring in hand to propose.
What a way to make a lady feel special. One can only imagine the planning and talking to the "right" people that this young beau had to face to make this happen. It makes you say....awwww. Watch the clip.
