Watch this good-humored English Bulldog take a deliberate tumble down a hill

It’s amazing the videos that go viral these days. A puppy can’t even enjoy a good tumble down a hill without someone sticking a video in its business and showing it off to a million or so viewers.

Such is the case with “Sophie,” an adorable English Bulldog, who “has come to appreciate the simple pleasures in life,” writes the Huffington Post on March 17.

Sophie’s owner wrote on the YouTube video that her 6-month-old English Bulldog has a knack for rolling, just like a child would do on a summer’s day. Dogs typically don’t like to get dizzy, so when Sophie just keeps rolling, and rolling, and rolling, we know she must get a kick out of it.

“Sophie stunned us with her fantastic rolling abilities one day and continued to do this for a few months in different areas of my yard,” writes owner Kathryn Miller. “Usually she just throws herself onto her back and rolls around but the first few times she did it she happened to be on a sloping hill.”

Miller says her own “rolling skills” are not too good, and assures us she didn’t teach Sophie the trick.

I just set her down to go potty and as you see in the video, she threw herself down on the ground and rolled down the hill. I picked her up, terrified that she had 'fallen' down this hill but I put her back down and she just did it again and again.

Miller says they contacted the breeder, who told her that Sophie’s mother did the same thing.

So there you have it. A rolling, jaunty Bulldog. Enjoy.
