"Kon-Tiki" won for Best Documentary in 1952. The film is about the travel of Thor Heyerdahl and his crew.

"Dogtooth" (2009)

"Dogtooth," a Greek film, which won at the 2011 Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.

"The Secret of the Kells" (2009)

"The Secret of the Kells," won at the 2010 Academy Awards for Best Animated Film. The animated feature looks at Celtic mythology.

"Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" (1963)

Sophia Loren fans will enjoy "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow." The movie won in 1964 as the Best Foreign Language Film. It had been directed by iconic director, Vittorio de Sica."

"The Sand Castle" (1977)

"The Sand Castle," is an animated short feature that garnered the Best Animated Short Oscar for it's creativity.
