Watch the new trailer for 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

Women everywhere, rejoice! Released this morning was the very first trailer for the upcoming movie "Fifty Shades of Grey," the highly anticipated film based on the racy, best-selling, erotic romance novel by E.L. James. It is set to hit theaters on Valentine's Day 2015.

The film stars Dakota Johnson as the female lead, Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as the tormented billionaire, Christian Grey. The book raised eyebrows and became a controversial talking point for its explicitly detailed sex scenes, including acts of bondage, dominance/submission and BDSM. The casting process was hugely publicized in the media and this trailer will be the audience's first look at Johnson and Dornan in the two main roles.

Female director Sam Taylor-Johnson was chosen to direct the film. Her only previous feature-film directing credit was for the 2009 film, Nowhere Boy, which starred Aaron Taylor-Johnson as a young John Lennon.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" also stars Marcia Gay Harden, Jennifer Ehle, Max Martini, Luke Grimes and Eloise Mumford.

So what do you think? Do the actors resemble the picture of Anastasia and Christian that you had in your head? Are you looking forward to this new film? Will the movie live up to the book, or will the book ultimately be more effective in that it relies on the reader's imagination?

We will surely see more as we get closer to Valentine's Day. Until then, enjoy the trailer.
