It was reported on Jan 2, 2013, that the in-form Virat Kohli, who had injured his right knee will not play, but was included in the final playing eleven.
India left out Rohit Sharma to bring in all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Pakistan fielded the same squad that won the 1st ODI.
When last reports came in, Pakistan scored 250 runs all-out. India in reply, had scored 155 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 47 overs. Nazir Jamshed scored another century with 106 runs.

This is a must game for India, they have already lost the first of the three ODI series and are behind 0-1. A win for Pakistan in this match will make the 3rd ODI in Delhi a dead rubber.
