The Super Bowl is one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year and on Feb. 2, 2014, the action includes a 12 p.m., ET airing of the “Road to the Super Bowl,” a 1 p.m. episode of “Football America: Our Stories” and a pre-game show at 2 p.m., ET. At 5 p.m., ET, Super Bowl XLVIII is officially under way and Fox is bringing the excitement to the nation whether you watch by television or choose a mobile live stream. The game takes place at the MetLife Stadium located in East Rutherford, New Jersey and halftime includes a number of high-profile celebrities who will provide entertainment. Opera singer Renee Fleming will open the game with the national anthem while Queen Latifah will lend her vocal stylings to “America the Beautiful.” Halftime performers include Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bruno Mars.
