Sixpence None the Richer has roots in Christian influence, naming the band after a passage in a book by Chrisitan author C.S. Lewis. They were launched into the mainstream, and then went through many transitions including solo work from Leigh Nash.
With the interest surrounding the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, it may interest listeners to know that the band also has a UK influence with a rock/pop sound.
Their latest album, “Lost in Transition” was launched on August 7. The album is a reflection of all the changes the band members have experienced and the victory through it all.
