The release of new "StarCraft II" content "Heart of the Swarm" is growing ever closer and the new trailer 'Vengeance' is getting a lot of attention. A special event for the trailer's premier was held Feb. 26 with special behind the scenes commentary from Blizzard developers. If you missed the premier than you can watch the trailer now on YouTube.
Surprisingly this new trailer isn't entirely new. Comprised of the previously released intro cinematic interspersed with new footage, the trailer is a bit of a teaser. Focusing on Sarah Kerrigan, Blizzard sums up "Heart of the Swarm's story as: " . . .(embarking) on a path of great vengeance and furious anger. While pursuing her revenge, the Queen of Blades also seeks to reclaim her living empire."
As the title 'Vengeance" dictates it's clear that Kerrigan is out for revenge and boy is she angry. The lovely CGI does a wonderful job rendering just how vehement the Queen of Blades really is. The story-line for the "StarCraft" games is decent but what really gives them replay value is the competitive gameplay which was seen in the show-match during the special live online event on the 26th.
It's just a short wait now until 'Heart of the Swarm' is released on March 12. You can pre-order from here for $59.99. There will also be special launch events going on around the world.
