Just a few weeks ago, we got a look at the first full length trailer for the upcoming 'Godzilla' remake. And on March 18th, we have an expanded international 'Godzilla' trailer which drops a few more tantalizing hints at the carnage that awaits moviegoers on May 16th.
Bryan Cranston's character expands upon the monologue in the original trailer. Whereas before he's addressing the authorities he believes are responsible for unleashing the monster, not he's talking to an offscreen colleague (most likely his son, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson); "They're not fooling anybody that what happened was a natural disaster. It was not an earthquake. It wasn't a typhoon. They're lying. I'm not crazy. Whatever it is they're guarding so carefully, I need to be able to prove it's real."
Cut to more scenes of mass destruction and hints of the massive beast. We then see Ken Watanabe's character discuss the folly of man thinking he could control the monster, and a military commander (David Straithairn) giving a call to arms.
And is it just me, or does that look like Godzilla adversary Rodan at the 1:19 mark?
