Rihanna's had her fair share of the celebrity spotlight this year, but most of it has been due to one fateful night with Chris Brown. The singer is featured on the new single, "Run This Town," off of Jay-Z's upcoming album, The Blueprint 3, and MTV.com has just debuted the video.
According to the site, "Run This Town" is "the much-anticipated video that brings together three of the hugest names in the music industry—Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West—and casts them as warlords in a 23rd-century turf war."
The video is directed by Anthony Mandler, the man behind Jay-Z's VMA-nominated "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)" clip. He told MTV News, "I wanted something that didn't fit into 'this is New York, this is a building or a street [you know]...I wanted it to feel more ancient. I wanted it to feel more European, but on American soil. I didn't want it to have a framework, like, 'Oh, we're riding in New York.' "
Watch the video below and see if Mandler achieved his goal, and if Rihanna has officially made her comeback.
