Institute for Responsible Technology is allowing the free streaming of an approved 60-minute version of Genetic Roulette-The Gamble of Our Lives, beginning today through Nov. 8. This film won Top Transformational Film of 2012 by AwareGuide and 2012 Movie of the Year by Solari Report.
This film features testimony from healthcare practitioners, scientists, veterinarians, parents, and others about the health risks of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Over 1.25 million people saw the movie during a free showing in 2012.
There are facts about genetically modified organisms that can only be learned from watching this movie. Most Americans aren't aware that 88 percent of all corn has been genetically altered. Nor do they know that since the 90s, the number of Americans suffering from at least three chronic diseases has doubled.
The facts this movie presents about genes and how human DNA is forced into that of plants and the DNA of spiders is forced into that of goats, is unconscionable.
Learn about the unethical behavior of the FDA and other government offices in relationship to the foods Americans are told are safe to eat. According to the 60-minute version of the film, the 1992 policy of the FDA on GMOs was, 'no safety studies are necessary.'
All that is needed to watch this updated 60-minute version of the full-length movie is to sign in with your name and email address.
I will continue to preview documentaries and search for the truth about GMOs. Americans have a right to know when those who are responsible for the safety of their food are looking the other way and allowing potentially lethal substances into the marketplace.
