NBC has officially announced that they, and many of their affiliates, will be moving "Days of our Lives" on their schedule this fall. Because of the new "Talk" show beginning on September 8. The new show will be the "Meredith Vieira Show" ‎and as it will be moving into the network's daytime lineup they are probably moving the soap, because as we have seen talk shows receive higher ratings than soaps. Believe that and I have a bridge to sell you.

Still in many markets, it may bump "Days" to either an hour earlier or an hour later. Fans may be angry but must remember to be grateful for the gift of this wonderful soap and agree to watch it or DVR it at any hour it is on.

Be sure to keep an eye on your local listings to see if you will be affected by the switch.

There are a couple of casting calls going out for DOOL.

They are looking to cast "a gorgeous male of any ethnicity in his mid-to-late 30s, with a strong voice and presence." The role will be recurring. He will be called "Ted" and they describe him as a "mysterious man who has been betrayed by a loved one and has his sights set on revenge."

DOOL is also looking for someone to play Bob who is described as an attractive 50-60 year old computer geek.

And finally,DOOL is casting for a gorgeous Japanese woman between the ages of 40 and 50 to play Tori Norita. She lives in Japan, but longs to be with her 25-year old son who is in the US to support his career. The role will also be recurring.

Who would be your picks for these roles?
