The release date for “Watch Dogs” may have been possibly revealed. According to a report from Game Keys Now on Jan. 24, multiple sources are claiming that the new intellectual property is now set to launch on April 25th.

The release date falls on a Friday. Although most video games are released on Tuesdays, there are a few instances, such as the upcoming “inFamous: Second Son,” of software products launching on the last working weekday of the week. The PS4 and Xbox One were also released on Fridays.

“Watch Dogs” was expected to be one of the bigger next-generation launch titles for the PS4 and Xbox One in 2014. Ubisoft, the company that is developing and publishing the video game, decided to delay the released, however. The development team explained the postponement by stating that they wanted to improve on the game’s quality to make it comparable to the “Grand Theft Auto” series.

Fans may not have to wait much longer to get their hands on “Watch Dogs” if the rumored release date is correct. Along with the PS4 and Xbox One, the same video game will be made available on the Nintendo Wii U, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
