‘Watch Dogs’ PC, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U versions compared by insider

An insider has made a brief comment in regards to the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U versions of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Watch Dogs.” According to a report by Gaming Bolt on Jan. 23, the individual claimed that the open-world action-adventure video game runs best on computers.

On the console side, the PS4 is expected to be the best performing platform by a wide margin over the Xbox One and Wii U. You can find a few screenshots showcasing the new intellectual property in the slideshow to the left side of the article and the comment from the insider below:

The same individual also added that the performance gap should widen even more for the PS4 and Xbox One as Sony Computer Entertainment is expected to further optimized the next-generation system on the third and fourth year.

Watch Dogs” appears to be the latest video game that runs better on the PS4 than on the Xbox One. The other notable titles include “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag,” “Battlefield 4,” “Call of Duty: Ghosts” and the upcoming “Tomb Raider.” Despite being more powerful, Sony’s new console is $100 cheaper than Microsoft’s next-generation system.

“Watch Dogs,” which was initially scheduled as a launch game for both platforms, currently has no release date after being delayed. The same video game will also be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
