‘Watch Dogs’ on PS4 and Xbox 720 multiplayer details hinted (Photos)

Ubisoft has hinted at some possible details in regards to the multiplayer portion of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Watch Dogs,” which is coming to the PS4 and Xbox 720. According to a report by Gaming Everything on March 7, the publisher disclosed that one of the core pillars for the new intellectual property is hyper-connectivity. As a result, players can apparently take a look at each other’s actions in both the single player and multiplayer components. You can check out some screens from the open-world action-adventure video game, as well as several images of the PS4 accessories and user interface, in the slideshow at the top of this article. The comments from Ubisoft can be found below (courtesy of Gaming Everything):

Hyper-connectivity is obviously a core subject in our game. It is everywhere, from the innovative tool you use in the game to our entire online experience. The entire game structure is based on the idea that everyone is watching whether it’s in single player, multiplayer or everything in between. It is within the game and also outside of it…

In addition to the PS4 and Xbox 720, “Watch Dogs” will also be released for the Nintendo Wii U, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. The next-generation version will come with some exclusive features in addition to the enhanced graphics. The video game is slated to come out later this year.
