Showcasing unbelievably fluid gameplay, questions began to populate regarding the game engine that is being used in “Watch Dogs.” Seeing that this is a Ubisoft title, many gamers began to believe that this title was running on the same engine as “Assassin's Creed,” the AnvilNext.
According to a report published by DSOgaming yesterday, it has been officially confirmed that “Watch Dogs” is running on a brand-new game engine, which has been developed specifically for this title. Developed for “Watch Dogs” at Ubisoft Montreal, this new engine is called “Disrupt.”
