Last week, Ubisoft showcased it's next generation title "Watch Dogs" during the PlayStaion 4 reveal event. Although the game was still running on high-end PC hardware, it's pretty clear Ubisoft has big plans for their new IP.
Some interesting news popped up on amazon today, however; an actual listing for Watch Dogs for the PlayStation 4. No rating or release date is given, but there is an important thing to note: The price. Watch Dogs, at this current time is listed for $99.99 on Amazon for the PlayStation 4.
Now, I don't think this will be the final price, as it seems... ridiculous, but it does raise an eyebrow considering EA has been speaking about the potential for higher priced games in a recent conference specifically about the PlayStation 4. So even if the final price is not $99.99, I wouldn't be surprised to see a $69.99 price tag.
Regardless, I am excited for this game and excited to see what the next generation of hardware brings us. Lets just hope it's not a drastic increase in price (or any increase at all).
