Ubisoft's E3-stealing "Watch_Dogs" is hitting "all home consoles" this holiday season, according to promotional materials leaked Friday.
The open-world title debuted in a breath-taking demonstration at the end of Ubisoft's conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) last year. Showcasing amazing visuals that looked like a preview of the next generation of consoles, the massive game demonstrated multiple gameplay elements and paths to take in a near-future urban environment. The demo culminated with a massive gunfight in the middle of the town before pulling back to showcase multiple players involved.
The French publisher has since been mum on the game, not even confirming what platforms it would debut on. Two posters posted online point to a holiday launch on what could be both the current Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and their successors -- rumored to release this fall. "Watch_Dogs" could end up being a launch title for the two new systems.
Expect more information from Ubisoft in the coming months, leading to a media blowout at E3 in June.
