Ubisoft posted a question and answer article in regards to the upcoming “Watch Dogs.” According to a report from Aus Gamers on March 28, the publisher first confirmed that the open-world action-adventure video game features a real-time day-night cycle with no scripted elements.

Furthermore, the new intellectual property also offers a variety of weather cycles from sunny clear skies to a rainy storm. You can check out a selection of “Watch Dogs” screens in the slideshow to the left of this article as well as the weather details below:

We have a lot of different weather possibilities from sunny and calm, to stormy and rainy. Wind, rain, fog and clouds all have several degrees of intensity and are all systemic.

Ubisoft also revealed that the non-playable characters will be unique as the development team is using 3,000 character kits to build each individual. The pedestrians should behave realistically as players will encounter more of them during the day as opposed to the middle of night. Finally, each of the NPC can be hacked.

The new intellectual property takes place in 6 different zones from Chicago. To get around, players can use over 75 various vehicles, including bikes. In regards to hacking, Ubisoft also stated that there will be more than a 100 different methods.

“Watch Dogs” should be released on May 27 on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One systems. The Wii U version remains without a release date as Ubisoft wanted to take more time with the video game on Nintendo’s platform.
