"Watch Dogs" and "The Witcher 3" have been connected with some new documentation that suggests the games will be released at the end of this year.
According to a report from SuperPolyPixel on Friday, some new official GameStop documentation has been leaked, which may be revealing the release date of two major next-generation titles.
"Watch Dogs" has been confirmed to be launching with the PlayStation 4, but the document points to its release date being on New Year's Eve of this year.
In addition to that, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is also dated to release on the same day as "Watch Dogs."
It's unclear if this information is for North American, Asian or European releases, but they are very interesting to look at.
The documents show accurate release dates of some upcoming titles that have been given release dates, and then there are a few others that haven't been announced.
"Wild Hunt" has yet to receive a release date, and "The Witcher 3's" development team has been reached out to for comment.
From a "Watch Dogs" standpoint, this is highly unlikely because Ubisoft said this game would launch with the PS4, and the system is expected to release sometime during November, in time for the holiday shopping season.
So unless the game has been delayed from its original launch title status, it's doubtful "Watch Dogs" will be released on the last day of this year.
One other fact to mention for this story is that Dec. 31 is indeed a Tuesday, so take that for what it's worth. Do you think "Watch Dogs" and "The Witcher 3" will be released on the last day of this year?
For those who want to check out the document photos, they are the first two in the slideshow above.
