A Democratic Party activist was recently discovered at a Rand Paul for Senate event in Kentucky, trying to pass himself off in a rather unflattering light, as a Tea Party member, and supporter of the conservative Paul.

The young man who would only identify himself as “Tyler,” wore a tin foil hat, with a pair of flip flops around his neck, carrying an anti-immigration sign with a “Dora the Explorer” doll taped to it.

However, prior to the ruse, witnesses saw the man who has been identified as Tyler Clay Collins, speaking with campaign officials for Jack Conway, Paul’s Democratic opponent. They were reportedly discussing how outrageous Collins would behave, even shouting racist slogans.

He was later seen marching with other Conway supporters...minus the tin foil.

Collins is actually a Murray State University student and member of the Kentucky Young Democrats. He also worked on the Obama campaign for two years.

The Conway for Senate campaign has denied any role in the incident, or of even knowing Collins.

PrisonPlanet.com reported that Collins’ Facebook page contained photos of him at an Obama rally and posing with Jack Conway supporter Crit Luallen, but the photos have now been removed. Collins even has candidate Conway listed as one of his Facebook friends.

Of course, while the mainstream press has been obsessed with reporting erroneous tales of racism and violence committed by actual Tea Party members, they have completely ignored this incident.

Watch the video below as Collins is confronted over his fraudulent actions:

The Republicans do "outrage" rather well - almost as well as the slimy tricks "they" pull.

The reason why mainstream media is ignoring this story is because there isn't a story. This was a kid that was trying to be funny and make fun of the ultra right wing. In all honesty, if you look at the kid, no one was taking him seriously. It was the right wing bloggers that was trying to make a big deal out of the situation. The two largest papers in Kentucky, The Louisville Courier-Journal and the Lexington Herald Leader have not reported on this.

The state political program, "Comment on Kentucky" did not report on this, because it isn't newsworthy. Shame on the bloggers who have attempted to create a story to fit the narrative that conservative 'journalists' have perpetuated. Tyler did not have the support or backing of anyone. That is the reason why no state media, sans WHAS 11 in Louisville has reported on it.
