Cheryl Shuman, the "Martha Stewart of Marijuana", famous cannabis advocate, mother, president and founder of the Beverly Hills Cannabis Club, just posted the following message on her Facebook account:
"The Russ Belville Show Just posted an interview that was shot at the DPA Conference just hours before I was taken to the hospital. It's interesting to me, because it's so strange when everything can be find one minute then bam, a seizure and bam another one and a TIA and you're off in an ambulance. Sadly my friend Steve Collett died the next day suddenly. It truly makes you appreciate every single minute of good health. So happy to be home from the hospital! Thanks Russ for your support all of these years.
God bless everyone.
Thankfully, Ms. Shuman received appropriate medical care, has been discharged from the hospital and is now at home, recovering. She has shunned the use of traditional medicine and has chosen, instead, to treat herself with CBD (Cannabinoids are a class of diverse chemical compounds that activate cannabinoid receptors on cells that repress neurotransmitter release in the brain).
She posted the following message yesterday, following her release:
“Transferred out of Denver Hospital with 9 new pills a day ugh! Happy to be back in LA. Got great shipment of #CBD products from HempMedsPX to try instead of the pharmaceuticals.
Not walking or seeing well yet but hoping it will return. My best friend hired a private nurse for me so I can use #cannabis & #CBD instead of pills! Checked out AMA (Against Medical Advice) because its my body my choice on how I choose to heal myself!
Thanks for your prayers & support! Drs tell me with physical therapy chances are good for me. Much love & respect to all”.
It appears Cheryl is on the road to recovery and should be back to advocating for the benefits of cannabis soon.
