Bill Nye, a popular science educator and television host (Bill Nye the Science Guy), and Ken Ham, founder of Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum, will square off Tuesday, February 4 at 7 p.m. E.S.T. in a debate over the question of whether creation is a viable model of origins. Tickets to the event, to be held in Petersburg, Kentucky, sold out in minutes, but the debate will be live streamed for free. The live stream will also be available for viewing on YouTube after the debate. Those who register will be sent further information and updates. Free promotional materials are available upon request. The event may be rebroadcast to churches or other groups, but admission or participation fees cannot be charged.

Each debater will have a chance to present the most current information available in defense of his position. After these presentations, each man will have a chance to rebut the other's statements. Both will then answer questions submitted by the audience. The event has attracted national attention, and many will be watching agnostic Bill Nye and creation scientist and author Ken Ham present their opposing views.
