With only one week left before the end of "The Walking Dead"'s mid-season hiatus, TWD fans are champing at the bit to find out what happens next. While we don't have all the answers, what we do have is a sneak peek from the upcoming mid-season premiere, episode 3.9, "The Suicide King."

In the sneak peek, we get a closer look at the new survivors at the prison. Tyreese and company have come outside to the yard to bury their friend Donna. With only Carol and Carl guarding the gate, Donna's husband Allen gets the bright idea to overpower them and take over the prison. While Tyreese immediately puts down this idea, we don't know whether or not the two groups will eventually come together in peace, or if they'll butt heads.

When we left off at the mid-season finale, things were not looking good for our intrepid survivors of "The Walking Dead." While the group had managed to save Maggie and Glenn from Woodbury, Oscar was killed in the rescue mission and Daryl taken prisoner. Now Daryl and Merle are facing execution at the hands of the Governor, and back at the prison a new group of survivors has come to stay.

Tune in this Sunday night at 9 p.m. for the mid-season premiere of "The Walking Dead," "The Suicide King."

We are the walking dead: The Walking Dead" is currently in its mid-season break. It will return this February 10th in its usual Sunday night time slot at 9 p.m. for more zombie mayhem and madness.
