On Sunday, Bo, the Obama's dog, touched down on Martha's Vineyard in a U.S. Marine MV-22 Osprey, joining the first family for their vacation at a private resort on the island.
It is still unclear why it was necessary to bring Bo, along with about a dozen basketballs on a separate flight. Perhaps, Air Force One was filled to capacity with Michelle Obama's handmaidens.
However, the cost of delivering the Portuguese Water Dog to the posh vacation spot is the least of the expenses from the latest taxpayer-funded Obama family getaway.
The Telegraph reported:
More than 70 hotel rooms, each costing up to $345 a night, have been booked out for Secret Service agents, who took charge of luggage including two large mesh bags full of basketballs.
Of course, such abuse of the much-beleaguered, dwindling ranks of American taxpayers is nothing new with Obama.
In December, the Obama's squandered $4 million of our money on their annual vacation to Hawaii.
In 2010, the Hawaii trip cost us $1.4 million.
While those costs seem exorbitant, the Obama's set a new standard in limousine-liberalism when they spent, what is believed to be $100 million in Federal Reserve notes on their African safari earlier this summer.
I say "believed to be," due to the fact that the Obama administration (You know...the "most transparent administration in U.S. history) still refuses to release the total, official cost of the trip.
Remember, these outrageous expenditures are occurring while this nation continues to endure the worst economic period since the great depression.
