New iPhone App Helps U of M Students Navigate Ann Arbor

The real estate blog has a post about a slew of iPhone apps rolled out last week that will make navigating Ann Arbor easier for University of Michigan students. The apps allow students to search the university directory, navigate campus, access the bus system or find out what's for lunch at the dining hall.

Scores trend slightly upward for most Washtenaw County school districts on MME, ACT reports that seven of the 13 districts or charter schools in Washtenaw County scored above the state mean ACT composite score.

Foster youth speak to policymakers about education

WMU News, the official news service of Western Michigan University, reports that youth from Kalamazoo, Jackson and Washtenaw counties are expected to share the difficulties they have finishing their education along with recommendations for policies and programs that could help them and other foster youth continue through college and into a career.
