Weather Summary

A cold front that has stalled over the Middle Atlantic states will begin to dissipate on Tuesday. As a result, we can expect a mostly sunny day on Tuesday, but it will be seasonably warm and humid. There is a slight chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. Thunderstorm chances increase significantly on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as a warm, southerly flow of air combines with energy associated with an area of low pressure moving through the Great Lakes region. It will be quite warm and humid each day with lows only around 70 and highs in the mid 80s. A cold front moves through the area early this weekend, continuing the chances for thunderstorms into Saturday morning. Drier weather returns for later in the weekend with seasonably warm, but slightly less humid, conditions on Sunday.
