The extended forecast calls for mostly cloudy conditions with showers and thundershowers on Saturday. The low will be in the mid 60s and the high will be in the mid to upper 70s. Mostly sunny and warm on Sunday with a low in the mid 60s and a high in the upper 70s. Mostly sunny and warm on Monday with a low in the mid 60s and a high in the mid 80s. Mostly sunny and warm on Tuesday with a low in the mid 60s and a high in the mid 80s. Clouds and sun on Wednesday with a low in the mid 60s and a high in the lower 80s.
A warm front will continue to move north of the area overnight. Milder temperatures are already being reported across the region this afternoon with widespread readings in the low to mid 70s, and even some upper 70s to near 80 to the south and west. Friday will begin with some cloudiness and areas of fog, but more sunshine is expected by the afternoon. Highs will reach the upper 70s to near 80 in Baltimore and Washington. By Saturday, a cold front will approach the area from the west and produce more clouds and rain showers that may persist into early Sunday. Some thundershowers may occur as well, although no severe weather is expected. Saturday will definitely be the wettest day of the weekend. Sunshine returns on Sunday with highs once again in the 70s. The first summer-like temperatures of the season will occur during the early part of next week with highs each day climbing into the lower and middle 80s on Monday through Wednesday.
