Weather Summary

A weak cold front will move from west to east across the bay region today, producing a few clouds and isolated rain showers. A broad area of high pressure will then build over central Maryland as we move into the late afternoon and evening hours. This high will be the main weather feature throughout the upcoming weekend and will result in plenty of sunshine and pleasant temperatures. Lows on Saturday and Sunday will dip into the 50s with daytime highs in the mid 70s. As we move into next week, the high will move to our south and the flow of air will become warmer and more humid. This will increase the likelihood of afternoon thundershowers. A warm front is expected to advance northward by the middle of the week, to be followed by another cold front later in the week.
