Clouds and sun on Wednesday with isolated thundershowers. The low will be in the mid 60s and the high will be in the mid 80s. Becoming mostly sunny on Thursday and Friday with lows in the upper 50s and highs each day in the upper 70s.
High pressure will build toward the Middle Atlantic states today from the Great Lakes region. An upper-air disturbance may produce a few clouds and perhaps an isolated shower later this afternoon, but most locations will remain dry. The center of high pressure will move to our east on Sunday and Monday, and this will result in a more southerly flow of air. Consequently, temperatures will reach the upper 70s to near 80 on Sunday and the 80s on Monday. A cold front will approach Maryland from the northwest late on Tuesday. This may produce isolated thundershowers on Tuesday and Wednesday. High pressure will build over the region on Thursday and Friday with drier and cooler temperatures.
