The extended forecast calls for clouds and sun on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday along with a chance of scattered thundershowers. It will be rather warm and humid each day with lows around 70 and highs in the mid 80s.
High pressure continues to dominate the weather map in the Middle Atlantic states. Both Friday and Saturday featured plenty of bright sunshine, blue skies, and warm temperatures along with comfortable levels of humidity. The center of high pressure will begin to move to our east this afternoon and evening. Temperatures this afternoon are in the lower 80s with breezy conditions from the south as warm air rushes northward ahead of the approaching cold front. For the balance of the afternoon we can expect hazy sunshine and warm temperatures with highs perhaps reaching the mid 80s. Meanwhile, low pressure will move across Pennsylvania on Sunday night and Monday. A cold front trailing the low will move from west to east across Baltimore and Washington, but will slow its pace on Monday and Tuesday. This will result in unsettled weather both days. Although we will see some sunshine on Monday and Tuesday, there is a good chance of showers and thundershowers from time to time.
