High pressure to our south is providing a seasonably warm flow of air from the south. Under a mostly sunny sky, temperatures this afternoon are comfortable for early June with readings in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Pleasant conditions will continue through the evening hours. On Tuesday, more sunshine is expected early in the day, but clouds will increase later in the afternoon with scattered showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches from the west. A few showers and storms may persist into the evening hours on Tuesday. In the wake of the cold front, winds will shift to the northwest on Wednesday and bright sunshine is expected with highs in the lower to middle 80s. Yet another cold front is expected to impact the area by Thursday with showers and thunderstorms. Looking ahead, the period Friday through Sunday looks sunny and seasonably warm with tolerable levels of humidity. Low will be in the 60s and highs in the 80s.
