Weather Summary

After two days of sunshine and low humidity, more typical summertime weather returns to Baltimore and Washington this week. On Saturday we experienced bright June sunshine and refreshing breezes from the northwest with highs only in the upper 70s. The same area of high pressure that provided us with pleasant weather over the weekend will move out to sea this week. Consequently, a return flow around the high will bring in warmer and more humid air from the south. This will result in an increase in temperature and humidity throughout the week along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows each day will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s with daytime highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Humidity levels will be increasing, so it will feel even warmer.
