Beautiful summertime weather continues in Baltimore and Washington as high pressure builds over the Middle Atlantic region. On Saturday we experienced bright June sunshine and refreshing breezes from the northwest with highs only in the upper 70s. Today will be similar, although a bit warmer with highs in the lower 80s. Humidity levels will remain comfortable. The same area of high pressure that is providing us with pleasant weather will move out to sea this week. Consequently, a return flow around the high will bring in warmer and more humid air from the south. This will result in an increase in temperature and humidity throughout the week along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows each day will be in the upper 60s with daytime highs in the upper 80s.
