The extended forecast calls for hazy and humid conditions on Thursday with a chance of thunderstorms. The low will be in the upper 60s and the high will be in the mid to upper 80s. Mostly sunny on Friday and Saturday with lows in the mid to upper 60s and highs in the mid to upper 80s.
High pressure off the Atlantic coast will produce a southerly flow and will result in hot and humid conditions today and Tuesday. Highs may reach as high as 95 degrees both days along with uncomfortable levels of humidity. A weak cold front will move from west to east across the bay area on Wednesday, knocking off a few degrees from the high temperature and producing isolated thunderstorms. Scattered storms may persist into Thursday as the frontal system becomes stalled just to our south and east. By Friday and Saturday, high pressure will push the front out to sea and sunshine will return along with slightly less humid conditions.
