Weather Summary

High pressure that provided Baltimore and Washington with pleasant summer weather the past two days will move offshore today. While this will continue the trend of sunny days, a southerly flow will result and both temperatures and humidity levels will begin to increase. Yesterday's highs reached the low 80s, but today's readings will be in the mid to upper 80s. By Monday, the southerly flow will continue and temperatures will top 90 degrees along with humid conditions. The weather pattern will remain unchanged through the week with hazy, hot, and humid weather through the end of the week. However, a cold front will approach the region and produce thunderstorms by Thursday and Friday. In the wake of the front, sunshine and lower humidity return for the weekend.
