Weather Summary

A cold front will continue to move to our east today, taking morning cloudiness with it as it moves toward the coast. Cooler and drier air will overspread the Mid-Atlantic region as high pressure moves in from the Great Lakes region. A pleasant evening is expected with a clear sky, light winds, and temperatures dropping into the upper 60s. Thermometer readings will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s by Saturday morning. High pressure will provide Baltimore and Washington with sunshine, light winds, and comfortable humidity levels on Saturday. This same high will move off the coast on Sunday, creating a more southerly flow that will result in warmer and more humid conditions. The high will continue to move out to sea during the upcoming week, sustaining the warm, humid air mass over the northeast states.
