Warmer and more humid on Wednesday and Thursday with a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. The lows will be around 70 and the highs will be in the upper 80s.
High pressure off the coast of New England will create an onshore flow of air over the Mid Atlantic states today. This will result in considerable cloudiness and areas of morning fog, but most areas will remain dry throughout the day. Temperatures in the lower 70s this morning will only reach the mid to upper 70s by afternoon, perhaps a few degrees warmer if some cloud breaks develop. On Sunday we can expect much of the same with an easterly fetch providing morning fog and considerable cloudiness during the day. The upcoming week will feature gradually warmer and more humid conditions with a chance of afternoon or evening thunderstorms by next Wednesday.
