Brian's exclusive forecast for Washington DC:
Today: Sunny and warm with low humidity and a high in the low to mid 80s.
Tonight: Clear and comfortable with a low in the low to mid 60s.
Friday: Sunny and warm. A bit more humid with a high in the mid 80s.
The extended forecast calls for warm and more humid conditions on Saturday and Sunday with a chance of an afternoon or evening thunderstorm. The low will be in the mid 60s and the high will be in the mid 80s each day. Clouds and sun on Monday with a chance of a thunderstorm. The low will be in the mid 60s and the high will be in the mid 80s.
This morning's weather is atypical for the middle of July around Chesapeake Bay with thermometer readings in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Today will be sunny and pleasant with a deep blue sky, warm temperatures, low humidity, and light winds. Highs will reach the lower 80s. High pressure overhead will be responsible for the pleasant summer weather. This high will begin to shift northeast on Friday and over the weekend. This will create an onshore flow which will increase the levels of humidity and produce some more cloudiness. There is a slight chance of a thundershower over the weekend, but the influence of the high should keep most areas dry. There may also be some morning cloudiness or fog due to an onshore flow from the Atlantic.
