The extended outlook calls for very warm and humid conditions on Sunday and Monday with lows near 70 and highs around 90. Warm and humid on Tuesday with a good chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms. The low will be near 70 and the high will be around 90. Clouds and sun on Wednesday and Thursday. Lows will be in the mid 60s and highs will be in the mid 80s.
High pressure near the Great Lakes provided the Middle-Atlantic region with a mostly sunny sky today. Temperatures were seasonably warm, but humidity was lower than yesterday. The center of the high will shift to the east on Friday, providing yet another sunny and warm day for Baltimore and Washington. Over the weekend, the high will move offshore and the return flow around the high will result in warmer and more humid air overspreading the region. This pattern will continue into Tuesday when a cold front will move from west to east across the area. The front will produce widespread showers and thunderstorms by late Tuesday afternoon and evening.
